Owner, B.S, VMD

Amanda Kiselak

Dr. Amanda Kiselak grew up in Westtown, NY and graduated from Minisink Valley Schools in 2008, followed by Clemson University in 2012 with a B.S in Animal Science, and finally the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She has practiced in NJ, TX and NY while her husband served in the United States Army.

Prior to starting Village Vets, she has worked in small animal general practices, mixed animal practices, as well as emergency hospitals. Dr. Amanda is passionate about providing an array of services to include preventative care, medicine and infectious disease treatment, as well as trauma and surgical needs her clients have while focusing on the best patient-care and client communication. She is always ready for an adventure and strives to stay on top of the most advanced and up to date medicine. She aims to meet the dynamic needs of the local community as this clinic takes a shape of it's own.

Since returning to NY in 2019 her family has grown to include 2 children, 3 dogs, 3 cats and a small flock of chickens. She has taken on coaching T-ball for her daughter and her children now attend local elementary schools. Outside of work and mom-life Dr. Amanda enjoys hiking, gardening, and trying new recipes...which her kids rarely eat.

Team Lead

Michele

Michele has over 29 years of leadership experience in the veterinary field and has vast knowledge in many facets of the clinic from Practice Management, Veterinary Technician/Assistant, Client Service Representative, and Kennel Assistant. She is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and a positive environment for both staff and clients.

Animals have always been her passion since she was a little girl from family pets through the years, volunteering with local animal rescues, and working at previous veterinary practices. In her free time, she adores traveling and spending time with family and friends, spending summer days on the beach, playing softball, and of course, snuggle time with her “rescue” crew made up of 2 brindle mix gals Luna & Puppy, 2 frisky felines Stella & Ping, and let’s not forget the notorious (guinea) “P.I.G” Bam-Bam!
